Step One:
Do some self-study . Required Reading is Deadly Emotions by Dr. Don Colbert and The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk. This self-study is available on www.teachable.com. You have videos you watch and answer questions as you work through the materials

You have videos you watch and answer questions as you work through the materials. There are no deadlines for finishing the course. Work at your own pace. The new and improved online course with additional biblical counseling training and trauma training is available August 31, 2024.
Step Two:
In-Person Training classes include a cohort of a maximum of ten participants. This training, led by Trudy M. Johnson, PhD.,LMFT., CCTS-1, takes place near Phoenix, Arizona that is close to lodging and restaurants.
The training concentrates on learning the E M E T trauma resolution protocol . In addition participants learn Formational Prayer concepts and how to best apply their Gift and Calling.
Step Three:
Begin using what you learn with interested clients. Mastering the EMET Process for Trauma Resolution gives you the tools you need to help other's gain freedom from past wounds.
You're not alone! Included in the training are two personal sessions after the in-person class. Dr. Trudy will answer questions and help you through the learning process when you begin working with your clients on your own.
For coaches you also have access to training on the process of how to set up your coaching ministry if needed.

Practice the MRT technique with fellow participants so that you will be able to take the practice home and use it to help others. A'nesis calls this technique "EMET" which is the Hebrew word for Truth.
LEARN BASIC EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES
Learn the standard protocol for helping others calm their nerves using the tool with a Truth-centered perspective. You will learn enough to take this tool home as a way to help others in emotional distress.
PRACTICE LECTIO DIVINA OR "HEART PRAYER"
You learn and/or practice Intimacy with Christ via transformational prayer that involves imagining the Presence of Christ with you in your prayer time.
INSIGHT INTO YOUR GIFT AND CALLING
You are required to complete a gift and calling evaluation to understand your unique giftings. This information is discussed in detail in a session with Dr. Trudy in the training.

> Complete the Redeemed Gift and Calling Evaluation to be discussed with Dr. Trudy at the training.
> You also complete an on-line course available on www.teachable.com that incorporates many biblical counseling and trauma counseling concepts.
IN PERSON TRAINING:
GROUP SESSIONS FOR TRAINING:
Group sessions are offered near Glendale, Arizona with up to ten other participants work together to learn all the protocol of Emet Trauma Resolution. You're provided with the Protocol manual and all hand-outs you'll need to start your own counseling ministry using the Emet protocols. The training is also completely accessible on an app so that you can also use an I-phone, I-pad or computer.
PERSONAL HEALING: Many times these practice times with cohort members provide amazing personal times of healing.
INDIVIDUAL SESSION WITH DR. TRUDY:
During the training time you will spend a session with Dr. Trudy to discuss your gift and calling and also review or learn transformational prayer.
AFTER-CARE MENTORING:
INDIVIDUAL MENTORING:
After you attend the group training, you have two sessions of personal mentorship by Dr. Trudy as you learn the process. You have access to her mentorship schedule so that as the need arises she can answer questions and concerns when learning the process. (Zoom).
TAKE THE NEXT STEPS: BECOME AN A'NESIS INTENSIVE COACH OR PRACTItIONER.
If you would like to incorporate the Emet techniques into a 5 day intensive format (www.anesisretreats.com) you will want to continue your training by becoming a Certified A'nesis Intensive Practitioner if you are professionally licensed or otherwise you would carry the title of Emet Trauma Resolution Coach. Completing this training is easily accomplished with six separate two hour online sessions.
You complete the Emet Trauma Resolution Practitioner In-person training.
You complete ten separate Emet sessions with ten different clients.
You complete one A'nesis Intensive with an individual client.
BENEFITS OF CERTIFICATION:
You have the training you need to start your own A'nesis Retreats and Counseling Sabbatical intensive weeks in your practice that provides excellent services to God's people and a nice income for yourself.
You are granted access to all A'nesis workbooks for use with your clients.
COSTS: EMET TRAUMA RESOLUTION COACH OR PRACTITIONER:
Group in person training - $980.00 total- plus $300.00 is paid to sign up for the online course. .
COSTS: CERTIFICATION FOR A'NESIS INTENSIVE PRACTITIONER:

Complete the Online Course training + Complete the group training for EMET Trauma Resolution.
Complete SIX 2- hour online training sessions - $250.00 each session paid at the time of the online session.

Please note that with two intensives you will re-coup the total cost of this training. Upon certification you will basically have your own counseling ministry to offer in-person or online hourly transformation to clients.
You'll have access to all the A'nesis handbooks for clients plus a monthly training video from Dr. Trudy that will also have counseling information and hand-outs and tips.
